The Day the Barium Test Drained Me Completely

 Today, for the first time in my life, I had to drink barium for a stomach examination. Honestly, I couldn't drink it at all. You know how you have to drink the whole bottle of barium? They told me to drink it all, and I was like, What? No way! I tried my best to drink it, but I was scared I'd throw up.

Then, halfway through, they gave me more effervescent powder because my stomach didn't seem to handle it well. I was trying so hard not to burp, but they asked me to drink another dose of the effervescent powder. It felt impossible. They insisted, so I forced myself to drink it. It was incredibly tough.

It was so hard that by the end of it, I felt completely drained. Even though I had so many things to do today, I couldn't manage to do anything at all. This has been my little monologue about how exhausting today was.
